2. The information we collect
We only collect the information we need to look after you and run the salon. This may include:

- Booking and service details — the service you’re interested in, your current hair length, appointment history and stylist notes.
- Photographs — images of your hair that you choose to send us, or before-and-after photographs we take with your consent.
- Health and patch test information — where relevant to colour or extension services, so we can keep you safe.
- Payment information — limited details of transactions. We do not store full card numbers.
- Website information — such as your IP address, device and the pages you visit, collected through cookies (see section 8).
3. How and why we use your information
Under the UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:
- Contract — to provide the appointment or service you have booked.

- Legal obligation — to keep certain records, for example for tax and accounting purposes.
4. Sharing your information
We will never sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run the salon and website, and only where necessary. These may include our online booking system, email provider, payment provider, website host and analytics provider. All providers are required to keep your data secure and to use it only for the services they provide to us. We may also share information where we are legally required to do so.
